James Madison, legislator, Secretary of State, and fourth President, or Chief Magistrate, of the United States, is perhaps best known as one of the Founding Fathers of the United States in large part because of his efforts in the writing and ratification of our Constitution and the Bill of Rights. He is represented in the 21st century by Kyle Jenks.
The loving partnership of James and Dolley Madison is highlighted in this two-act drama by Kyle Jenks. President and Mrs. Madison complemented each other in their love of their country during their long marriage that took him from the halls of Congress, to Secretary of State under their friend Thomas Jefferson, and on to the White House itself.
